JOV serves as a beacon light shining in the dark, pointing the road that leads to righteousness and salvation. A voice in the wilderness proclaiming, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord."

December 07, 1964, a baby was born to proud parents Augusto & Aurora Paras. He is third in the family of six (6) siblings. "Boy", as he is popularly known among his family and relatives, grew up an ordinary man with ordinary dream and ambition like the rest of his peers.

At the tender age of 19, this young man met his Savior Jesus Christ. His new found faith has turned the world around. The zeal and love he has for his master could not be contained. He has become contagious for the Lord winning his classmates, friends and neighbors to Christ.

At the age of 21, he responded to the calling of God in his life to lead thousands of souls to Christ and to equip more leaders which marked the beginning of his journey… a journey to experience the hands and faithfulness of God.

May 14, 1986, backup by his young colleagues on fire for the Lord, this humble gathering has grown. A church of less than 50 jam-packed a house garage every Sunday, all hungry and thirsty for the move of the spirit of God. Signs and wonders manifested in the midst of their gathering. This church experienced a genuine revival from the awesome presence of God.

After a span of more than a year, the church grew in great numbers. From fifty (50) faithful followers, it has increased to more than a hundred calling them to look for a bigger place.

February 1990, the blooming church on her way again, just likes a travelling Jew who finds no rest 'till she finds her promised land. After three (3) years of faithful labor in the ministry at Mendoza building, the call to move was on. JOV found a temporary shelter on top of Didi's Pizza to accommodate all the members, tripled the size of the previous location. It was here where the ministry expanded its horizon. For more than ten (ten) years, this sanctuary has become a refuge and a place of worship to the ever growing number of believers.

For more than fifteen (15) years, JOV has been dreaming that God would give her a very own Worship Sanctuary: A place that will be called a house of praise, prayer & healing, a place where the Glory of the Lord will be reveled and revered. A faithful couple, touched by the Spirit of God had decided to offer to the Lord their piece of land located at Arayat St., Diamond Subd., Balibago, Angeles City.

And on May 12, 2001, the ground breaking ceremony took place.

Oct 01, 2001, with the little amount of money and a lot of faith, the construction of this temple began. People from all over, whom the Lord touched, gave generously. The sanctuary was a living statement of God's supernatural provision to His people as they moved in faith.
